10.0 Starting OpenOffice.org
The OpenOffice.org office suite offers a complete set of office
tools including a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, vector
drawing, and database components. Because OpenOffice.org is available
for a number of operating systems, you can use the same data across
different computing platforms.
To start OpenOffice.org, press Alt
F2 and
enter OOo. To create a new document, click , then choose the type of document you want to create.
To open an existing document, click then
select the file you want from the file system.
