After a system analysis where YaST tries to find other installed
systems or an already existing openSUSE system on your machine,
YaST displays the installation modes available:
1.9.1 Add-On Products and Repositories
You can also choose to install add-on products or add default repositories
with additional software together with your openSUSE. Add-on products are
official extensions for your openSUSE, for example non-open source
software, extra languages, or proprietary third-party products. A
repository maintains and distributes a collection of software packages.
With the default repositories you configure access to software packages
available on the Internet. Among others, the list of repositories includes
the official ftp distribution of openSUSE. Repositories added here are
activated immediately and are available during the installation.
It is also possible to configure additional repositories at any time in
the installed systems (see Section 3.5, Adding Software Repositories. Using
Add-On Products in the installed system is described in Section 3.6, Installing Add-On Products.

If you have chosen to configure add-on products or default repositories
and you are not running a network installation, a network setup step is
offered first. While a working network is a requirement if you want to add
default repositories, it is only needed with add-on products if you want
to add product sources available on the Internet.
Choose to start the network
configuration. If more than one network card is found, you have to choose
a card to configure from the list.
IMPORTANT: Wired Ethernet Cards Only
It is only possible to configure wired ethernet adapters at this stage. If
your computer is equipped with other network devices (e.g. wireless
network adapters), you have to configure the network at a later stage
(see Section 1.14.3, Network for more information).
If the network adapter is not already connected, a warning will
