Although this manual reflects the most current information possible, read the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Release Notes for information that may not have been available prior to the documentation being finalized. The Release Notes can be found on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux CD #1, online at https://www.redhat.com/docs/, or in the /usr/share/doc/redhat-release-notes-5<variant>/ directory after installation, where <variant> is Server, Client, or Desktop.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3 now contains support during installation for file system encryption. This is not supported for earlier versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
