DNS and Bind covers the Domain Name Service (DNS), Hal Stern's
NFS and NIS (both from O'Reilly) covers NIS ("Yellow pages") while WINS (Windows Internet Name Service),
hosts/LMHOSTS files and NIS+ are best covered by their respective vendor's manuals.
