Once you have run the install script (and possibly manually moved the cups.hlp file to
/usr/share/cups/drivers/ ), the driver is ready to be put into Samba's
[print$]
share (which often maps to /etc/samba/drivers/ and contains a
subdirectory tree with
WIN40
and
W32X86
branches). You do this by
running
cupsaddsmb
(see also
man cupsaddsmb
for CUPS since release
1.1.16).
