7. sudo apt-get install dvdrip
   sudo apt-get install vcdimager
   sudo apt-get install cdrdao
   sudo apt-get install subtitleripper
   sudo ln -fs /usr/bin/rar /usr/bin/rar-2.80
   sudo gedit /usr/share/applications/dvdrip.desktop

8. Insert the following lines into the new file

   [Desktop Entry]
   Name=dvd::rip
   Comment=dvd::rip
   Exec=dvdrip
   Icon=/usr/share/perl5/Video/DVDRip/icon.xpm
   Terminal=false
   Type=Application
   Categories=Application;AudioVideo;

9. Save the edited file (sample)
