Identifying the Web Server

To identify the web server running on a particular site you can use
the httptype command available from
https://httptype.sourceforge.net/. Example usage:
$ httptype togaware.com
Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) Debian GNU/Linux PHP/4.1.2
