GnomeCanvasGroup is a
GnomeCanvasItem that
contains other
GnomeCanvasItems. It creates the hierarchical
tree structure of the items on a
GnomeCanvas. The
GnomeCanvas creates a special GnomeCanvasGroup, called the root; all user-created canvas
items must be added below the root group. See the chapter called GnomeCanvas for more details.
