1.8. Logging Out

1.8.1. Graphical Logout

To log out your graphical desktop session, select Actions (the second menu on the top panel) => Log Out.

When the confirmation dialog appears as shown in Figure 1-19, select the Logout option and click the OK button. To save the configuration of your desktop, as well as any programs which are running, check the Save current setup option.

1.8.2. Virtual Console Logout

If you are not using the X Window System, and you logged in at the console, type exit or [Ctrl]-[D] to log out of the console session.
