Netgear

A Netgear Firewall Router (WGT624 for AUD150) will serve a Netgear PCI card (WG311T for AUD120). These are both 108Mbps 11g. In terms of Linux only the WG311T is an issue (because the other is a router). Something like the following should identify what you have:

  $  sudo lspci -s 00:09.0 -v -v

You are likely to need to hostap-utils package. Kernel module versions are available for 2.4, but not for 2.6, but can be found on alternative archives.
